Well, for those of you who read this blog, but are not on Facebook, I thought I’d share our happy news (as if you haven’t already guessed!). We found out that we are expecting baby #3! Yahoo! We are super excited and have already talked it up to the girls quite a bit. When we told Faith, the first thing she said was, “already?” What is that supposed to mean?!

We don’t have the for sure stats, because we haven’t been to the doctor yet, but we think he/she will be due around the end of February or early March. Sadly, I will not be able to have another home birth. We may need to pray for my disappointed heart as I search for an OB/GYN and look at a hospital birth! ๐Ÿ™‚ I know I sound strange, but I really loved having Haven at home with a mid-wife. It was an amazing experience that I cherish and it will be hard for me to go back to “fighting” for my right to have a natural birth.

Anyway, we are thrilled. Little one has definitely been making himself/herself known with lots of “morning” (more like all day) sickness and fatigue. The girls have been very understanding and the hubby has been a huge help! Thank the Lord for them and this new little blessing!

  • I must have missed this on FB. Congratulations!!! That is so great ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope that you have a wonderful and easy pregnancy. How exciting for you all!

  • Thanks Krystal!

  • I know my ob/gyn and our hospital were all about supporting whatever kind of birth we wanted. I wanted no part of natural childbirth (b/c I’m too much of a wimp), but they mentioned several times that I could do whatever I wanted. I hope you are able to find a dr and hospital that are as flexible as ours were.

  • Yay! Exciting news, Emily! Congrats!

  • what fun! totally exciting! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Sabrina, Yeah, I know you can find ob/gyn’s in the US who support natural birth, but it’s a different story overseas. They are so excited to have the technology, that they are super eager to use it and don’t really understand giving anyone a choice. That’s at least what we found when we had Faith in the Middle East! Oh well.

  • Dunno why I’m just now seeing this, but…CONGRATS! Sorry I’m late to the party, but we’re stoked! – Alvaro
