Thank you, dear readers, for rising to the task and answering my silly quiz! It’s good to know someone is out there and that I’m not just talking to myself (although I’m OK with just talking to myself, too!) I have really no idea who Haven looks like. I think she and Faith both look like Daddy, but in different ways, if that makes any sense! And if you have no idea what I’m talking about, look a few posts down (sorry, I don’t know how to link it–I’m not cool like that!).

Moving along, we’ve had quite the eventful week. We actually had snow on Tuesday, which is rare for this part of the country. And yes, I was excited about it. I actually enjoy seasons and, although I really love the beach, I love cold weather, too (for a time). Anyway, Faith got to go sledding for the first time, which she loved. She’s so brave! She did not want to go down with me, or anyone else, for that matter! She went down a couple of times with one of the girls we’re staying with right now, but besides that, she wanted to do it all by herself!

On Friday, we were blessed to be able to go to Charleston, South Carolina for a mini family vacation. Dear friends let us use their condo and even showed us around before they left us alone for the weekend! It was so great! Faith got to enjoy her first trip to the beach (really, it’s the second trip, but the first one was in Africa when she was just a few months old). We ate some really great seafood and got to see some historic places before we got rained out.

Oh yeah, the last picture is of Faith in some dress-up clothes she got for Christmas. She didn’t seem too interested when she opened them on Christmas, but has been wearing them pretty much every day the past few weeks. I think she likes them! ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, if you guys think of us, please pray for us the next few weeks/months. We’ve got some major changes and transitions coming up and it’s going to be crazy, in a good way. More on that to come . . . (hey, I have to leave you hangin’ so you’ll come back!).

  • Those are the cutest things I have seen! The one of the family is the best! And congrats on the snow- we are ready to be rid of it, but alas, we are stuck here in the midwest. We are praying my friends! love to you all-

  • You’ve got a new reader! ๐Ÿ™‚
Yay! And I’m a big commenter, so get excited. ๐Ÿ™‚
Your girls are super cute and I think they look a lot alike.
My Anna Grace would be all about dressing up with Faith in some pink dresses and feather boas.
    Love it!

  • Emily,
It was sooooo great to see Tim. We missed out…we wanted to meet the new ladies & see you. I am following your blog. Keep me posted! I love you and am praying for you guys. Pleas let me know if there is anything we can ever do. We told JJ we saw you and he said he wanted to come visit. He was excited about where your future holds!
    Blessings,
    Rebecca<><
